ICT

A child who is not ICT literate will find it difficult to cope at school. What is more, every career requires the use of the computer. This is why innovation through ICT is at the heart of learning at A Star.

Your child will have access to laptops and desktops in the learning centre at all times. From Primary ages 6 to all the way to age 18, everyone is encouraged to use computers.

Students can print off work and access the internet. Some even do their homework when they're free!

GCSE ICT

The emphasis is on understanding Information Technology. Many children find the programming and mathematical aspects quite boring. Therefore, to engage their interest, we use practical applications as much as possible.

A LEVEL ICT

Those who want to make ICT their career will want a head start at university. It is critical therefore that these students focus on key skills required to achieve top grades at A level which out tutors are experts at doing.

Computers for Parents

As part of our continued value to our clients we are to offer this course for parents. It will enable them to work at their own pace and 'face their fears' once and for all! They will be able to feel comfortable with the computer, have jargon explained to them and learn technical skills to cope with the demands of the information boom.
